The City of Worcester and The Canal District businesses are working together to provide convenient access and parking options. Canal District visitors will have access to many convenient parking options. More than 1,100 public parking spaces are located within the Canal District, including on-street parking, municipal parking lots, and the Union Station Garage, just a 5 minute walk away. In addition to these public spaces, we provide convenient paid on-site parking adjacent to WPM.
The free Canal District Shuttle Bus circulates the district on afternoons and weekends, connecting parking lots south of Kelley Square with the Worcester Public Market and other venues.
The famous Largess Farm horse-drawn wagon circulates the district most summer weekends as well, offering historical insight into the neighborhood and the thrill of stopping traffic in Kelley Square.
